It wouldn’t be fair if we would consult companies on how to do things better without us walking the talk. At Diana Yanes Consulting, we are committed, day after day, to make society and the planet a better one.

We generate profits thanks to all our clients who project after project believe in our work. So it is essentially thanks to them that we manage to donate more than +200 plates of food each year.
By working with us, you are also part of the solution. Each trimester we send newsletters to keep you informed on our achievements, ours being our clients and us!

1% of our profits are donated to Alimenta la Solidaridad, a Venezuelan NGO that ensures one meal a day to Venezuelan kids. What we love about the organization is that it is a participatory project that requires the involvement of parents and kids: parents are the ones in charge of doing groceries, preparing food, cleaning the cafeteria, and each kid brings their own containers. To us, the fact that parents and kids don’t take for granted the process, and that they are being part of it is precious.

96% of the Venezuelan population lives under extreme poverty; finding food in a country with a hyperinflation of +1M%, with a gasoline crisis is an enormous challenge for these parents.

Sustainability can only happen through

a collective effort.

Sustainable Development Goals 5, 8, and 10 directly regard our inhouse team, external collaborators, suppliers, and producers. Here are some things you would like to know about the way we operate:

SDG
  • We are a women-led team, which does not mean we discriminate against men, but so far, this is the way we’ve been working, and it’s awesome!
  • Diana Yanes Consulting offers free education to the in-house team. For us, the most important thing is that our team constantly gains competencies, so we praise when someone on the team wants to learn more.
  • We organize monthly team building meetings. Since we are spread around the world, we aim to stay connected and get to know each other in a non-working environment.
  • At Diana Yanes Consulting we work only with 100% committed people who believe in what we do, therefore, we give our employees as much flexibility to chose how to manage their vacations.
  • Our external collaborators come from all around the world, and we have a wide variety, within our small reality, of gender orientation, religions, and nationalities. The more varied we go, the more it makes us grow.
  • We work with no-harmful stress. At Diana Yanes Consulting we care about the person’s wellbeing, and we like working with companies who think it the same way. We respect timelines, but they need to be realistic. We don’t aim to imitate Silicon Valley’s workers who bring their sleeping bags to the office.
  • Diana herself is in direct contact with each member of the team, internal or external, and although rights are the same to all, personal considerations are also taken into consideration to comply with each employee or collaborator’s needs.

By working with us, you are committing to a healthier industry by growing healthy and happy professionals, this attitude will repay you much more than a harmful one towards the employees.

We aim to be part of the waste-solution through innovation, and that’s why we foster the making of 3D renders.

3D renders for shoes, garments, or any other piece, open a whole new segment in the industry, which by being all computer-made, help avoiding an enormous amount CO2 emissions created to make the materials that goes for prototypes and samples and the transportation of the materials; greenhouse gas emissions and other resources for the making of the prototypes and samples; waste of the final samples which are usually done solely for shootings and exhibitions but never sold; waste for the transportation of the products to the showrooms and different offices; even waste of money to make them.

By doing 3D renders, you can also have the possibility to cut in the budget and allocate it in a smarter way. You will even save a lot of time, and end up having a great digital asset to share among your different digital platforms.

So far, our partnerships for the SDGs are Alimenta la Solidaridad and GoGreen from DHL, but if you have any suggestion or are a possible partner to collaborate with, we are more than happy to hear your thoughts!

Due to the nature of our business, the volume of shipments we do are not in great volume. Nonetheless, we have signed up to the GoGreen initiative from DHL, our courier partner. Through GoGreen, we donate 0,1 euros by each shipped kilogram we ship, with the objective of offsetting part of the CO2 emissions we generate.
